When Tim decided to propose to me, he was very good about keeping it a secret.  We had not discussed at all getting married, we had not looked at rings, matter of fact the topic never came up.  He customed ordered a ring at some point and time, and had it shipped to the house.  We had made plans to go to San Diego for his father's birthday and had the weekend planned to spend time with his father, nothing else.  Apparently, even his dad didn't know until a couple days before we were leaving.  Tim did not know if he was going to get the ring in time to propose, while we were in San Diego.  The ring came in the day before we left.  He asked his dad if we were going to be anywhere that would be appropriate to purpose.  His dad said yes, we had made plans to go the Hotel Del Coronado, in San Diego.  He told Tim that they had a beautiful court yard there with a gazebo in it that they hold weddings in.  He said it would be a very pretty place to propose.  So, we went to San Diego, and we didn't go to the beach until the second day we were there.  So, Tim had to keep it secret and make sure the ring was hidden until we went.  Then his dad and him had to try and hide the ring most of the day, until the afternoon when we actually made it to the beach.  When we got there I was none to the wiser.  We went up to hotel and we were taking pictures, we went out to the court yard and that is when he stopped me and said "this is not the only reason we are here today"!!!  My mouth dropped and I stepped back in shock, as he pulled out the ring from his pocket.  I was spell bound!!!  Needless to say, I am glad we took pictures for the rest of the day, because I don't think I remember anything else after that.  Good job Babe, you definitely surprise me!!!
