At the time that I met Tim, I was living with my sister, who graciously allowed me to live with her while I was selling my house.  When I moved in with her, I was going through a bad divorce and wasn't sure I would ever meet someone again worth marrying.  I thought at my age, I probably wasn't going to be able to find someone who knew how to treat a lady right anymore.  I decided to try online dating one more time and just see what was out there.  I decided to jump on a site I had never been on before and give it shot.  After only being on there for 2 weeks, I found Tim.  I sent him a note and asked him to read up on me and see if I was someone he might be interested in meeting.  He responsed that he would like to meet me, and the rest is history from there.  I never thought that I could be so blessed in my life, to meet someone like him.  He was everything I was looking for and then some.  He truly knows how to treat a lady right, he is the true meaning of an "officer and a gentleman"!!  

Tim had only been in AZ for about 4 months.  He was completely new to the area, and didn't know very many people.  He had been a bachelor for 13 years, traveled around the country and some out of the country, and had met many people.  He had some girlfriends, but none of them worked out as someone he could spend the rest of his life with.  He too was kind of doing a last ditch effort when he decided to join the dating site that I was on, in an attempt to try and meet someone he was compatible with.  He stated that he was very surprised that he met me on that site, and he felt that I was probably one in a million on that site.  We were shocked to find out that we only lived 1 mile from each other, we would have never met had it not been for the dating site, fate must have had a plan.  He stated that he knew pretty quick that I was the one for him.  I took that as a huge compliment since he had been single for so long.  He proposed to me almost 11 months later!
