Brandon took me to the beach on his 3 year anniversary of moving to New Jersey. Being that this was just an ordinary Wednesday in April, I was a little surprised that Brandon kept rushing me to get home from work. My mom even called me right at 2:30 to ask what we were doing today. Either way, it was a 70 degree or so day in April, and when I got home, we went to Island Beach State Park.

Brandon was dressed very nicely (as usual), and he had a backpack packed for us to bring to the beach. We even had our little baby (dog) with us, too! We begin walking, and he was being a little extra lovey than he usually is . . . I almost thought something was up, but couldn't be certain. 

After a few minutes of walking on the beach on the first warm, spring day, Brandon begins to tell me the cute little things he loves about me & then gets down on one knee and says, "If you love me so much, will you marry me?" I of course say, "Yes!" (but in slightly different words . . . Ask for the video footage if you insist). 

After I finished crying, screaming, and laughing, we relaxed on a comfy blanket and clinked glasses for a "cheers" to the next chapter in our lives.
