Bride

Everyone has this perfect way that they want to be proposed to or how they are going to propose to their loved one.  Usually it involves roses, candles, an expensive dinner or a romantic setting.  Ironically enough, none of that is either Kristen or Laura.  Everything was going perfect in their lives, and they hadn't been more in love prior to that moment.  Laura had been itching to find the perfect ring for Kristen and pop the question.  Often they would daydream together about what their perfect ring would look like and how their perfect wedding would go.  Laura found the perfect ring, the ring she knew belonged on Kristen's hand.  She arranged a day to have lunch with her mom and then meet with Kristen's parents that afternoon for their blessing.  Laura showed her mom the ring and told her the proposal was in their near future.  With tears, Joyce blessed off on the proposal.  That afternoon Laura went to Kristen's parents house to have "The Talk".  Before anyone got down to business, Arlene handed Laura a piece of paper and told her not to read it just yet.  Laura then pulled out the ring and asked Arlene and Mike for their blessing.  Arlene instructed Laura to read the paper.  In short, they knew why Laura wanted to meet with them; the paper had their written blessing.  Laura was through the roof with joy, everybody was happy for them.  So excited, she swung by Chili's and picked up their favorite dinner and went home.  She put the food on the counter and when Kristen turned around after grabbing out plates... it happened.  Laura dropped to one knee and opened the ring box and asked for her hand in marriage.  In complete shock Kristen could do nothing but ask if this was for real.  She said, "yes" and the rest is history.
