The wedding plans for Kevin and Alissa are for 6 nights 7 days from Sat., Oct 1 - Sun, Oct 7 staying at Dreams Puerto Aventuras in the Riviera Maya south of Cancun, a beautiful all inclusive resort rated 6 Golden Apples, located on a private beach.  There are 2 pools, a swim up bar, 7 restaurants, several bars, huge 30 person oceanfront jacuzzi, world class spa, complimentary non-motorized watersports, and a fantastic kids program.

The non stop air on DELTA (leaving Detroit at 8:48am, arriving in Cancun at 11:45am, return flight leaves Cancun at 12:35pm, arriving in Detroit at 5:22pm), non stop transfers between airport and hotel in Riviera Maya (about a 1 hr. ride), 6 nights All Inclusive at Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort and Spa. Please be aware to arrive at  the airport at least 2 hours pior to departing which means if our plane is leaving at 8:48am be there no later than 6:48am because we have to go through security and get our bags checked in. If you choose to not come in this timeframe you might not get a chance to board this flight.

Here is a link with hotel pics and info.  Just scroll down the page to the blue tabs for more hotel info.

Here is a link that lists all of the excursions available.  These can be booked in advance or at the resort - prices may vary since we're using a different supplier:

Here is a link for those who need passports.  You can fill out the form here and print out the completed form, then take it to a passport facility.  There is also a link on that page directing you to the closest passport facility with and without photo capabilities.  I find the easiest place to go is to the Secretary of State office, and several license bureaus also process the applications and take photos on site.  The current charge for adult passports is $135 and for children under 16 it is $105.  Please allow 6-8 weeks processing time since most of the passports acquired when they first put the travel law in effect several years ago, will expire this year and they may be busier than usual.
