Tom had a very romantic evening planned for Valentine's day. It's our yearly tradition to go to  Shoreline Inn to stay & Lakehouse Restaurant for dinner. Well this year he informed me we were going to CF Prime Chophouse for dinner & only drinks at The Lakehouse. I was very excited. The night was going great & as we sat down for dinner, my face was so warm from all the wine, I had to excuse myself out for some air. Well apparently most of the staff knew about the proposal. They were under the impression that I had said "No" & left. Haha.......(poor Tom)

I returned back to our table about 10 min later & Tom pulled a little square box out of his pocket. I instantly knew what he was going to do. When I took a look at that ring I thought "Oh my goodness that is gorgeous"!!!! I was shocked, a lil red in the face, nervous, excited & smiling at the same time. I didn't want to cause a scene so I said " what, not now, holy crap, what are you doing". But of course I said yes & couldn't be happier to be marrying the love of my life......very excited for our journey & life together! I know we are both more then ready! :)

CF Prime Valentines Dinner

I remember the look on Arika's face. She was getting very embarrassed and didn't want me to continue. Even came to the point where she had asked me to "stop....not in front of everybody! OMG what are you doing?"

Oh course she said yes.....but she was definitely feeling very flushed, her bashfulness and personal need to stay out of the "lime light" still got the best of her.
