Snorkeling Adventure

On our honeymoon, we will enjoy a “Robinson Crusoe” type day away from the busy beaches and pools of our hotel! We will jump into the warm Caribbean waters and swim with colorful tropical fish and the amazing diversity of marine life as we marvel at the coral formations on the Great Mayan Reef, the second largest reef system in the world. Small launches will take us just a short distance from the beach out to the reefs and return to the snorkeling session so we are not on the water the entire day. Once we are back on shore, we can relax on a private, powder-soft beach while indulging in a delicious Caribbean barbecue lunch of grilled chicken, local fish and tasty meat tacos served right there on the beach. Later in the afternoon, we will head out for another snorkeling session. There is also beach volleyball or hammocks, cervezas and tequila for a terrific, laid-back day in paradise!

Xplor offers us over six miles of adventure featuring an adrenalin pumping circuit of 11 thrilling zip-lines with two suspension bridges, a slide and two water landings. Next we will experience a bone-jolting three mile trek through the jungle on unstoppable amphibious vehicles and explore an underground paradise where we can enjoy a lazy swim in warm waters surrounded by amazing stalactites and stalagmites then warm-up with a hot chocolate. After that we will glide down a rafting route of over 1000 yards meandering through stunning caverns paddling at our own pace with our own hands!

This program, combined with the Royal Garrafon all inclusive day excursion to Isla Mujeres, was created especially for us to share a series of sensational and safe activities! We will get close and personal with our new friends as we are taken for a belly ride by dolphins. Then we will put on our masks to get an incredible view of the dolphins as they speed and spiral swim through the water and demonstrate their amazing agility. The dolphins swim in and out of the group allowing us to interact with and view them up close. This will be an unforgettable experience!
