Recently designated as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, this is an extraordinary visit to one of the most impressive archaeological discoveries on the planet! We will marvel at the construction of massive structures such as the Kukulcan Pyramid, designed by Mayan architects without modern day technology, test the acoustical magic in the largest ball court in the Americas and walk the same paths as Mayan priests did centuries ago to offer sacrifices to their gods at the Sacred Well. After the tour, we will visit to a cenote at Ik Kil, where we can refresh in the cool, mystical waters and take advantage of another amazing photo!

We will enjoy a quick snorkeling jaunt out to a terrific section of the Great Mayan Reef, the second largest reef system in the world. On our honeymoon, we will jump into the warm Caribbean waters and swim with colorful tropical fish and an amazing diversity of marine life as we marvel at the coral formations located in shallow waters. Launches will zip us in and out to the reefs which lie just a short distance out from the beach. All of our equipment is provided and friendly guides provide easy instructions and assistance once we are in the water. This is a perfect activity for our romantic vacation in paradise!

This is a terrific opportunity to visit the area’s best shopping spots! At Lapis, the largest jewelry factory in Latin America, we can find an incredible selection of marvelous designs and an impressive collection of Persian rugs that can be shipped all over the world, and it’s all duty free. Then, we will visit Playa del Carmen, and after a cool welcome drink at Sr. Frogs or Carlos’n Charlie’s, we will browse high-end designer names or grab a Hagen-Daaz ice cream as we stroll along shaded, cobblestone walkways. Next, we will head over to “5th Avenue”, a pedestrian area running parallel to the white sand beaches of Playa Del Carmen. Here we will discover small shops with unique gift ideas, as well as bistros, intimate restaurants and small sidewalk cafes. We will shop, bargain, grab some beach time, relax in a small cafe or mingle at Frogs or Charlie’s! The free time is ours to plan any way we want!

This is our chance to party the Mexican way! We will jump right into an energetic atmosphere while meeting fellow partiers, enjoying the open bar and dancing on the upper deck as we cross the bay to Isla Mujeres aboard a comfortable catamaran cruiser! Once on the island, we will feast on an all-you-can-eat buffet right on the beach with a domestic open bar all evening long. Then, we will sit back and “visit” beautiful islands like Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and the mysterious African continent as we watch a show filled with the lively rhythms and native dances of these exotic places. There will be fun contests and prizes for anyone who participates and a live orchestra for dancing!
