Hey everyone! We thought a fun way to show us some love, rather than a physical item on one of our other registries would be to contribute towards one of the fun excursions we picked out to do while we are on our honeymoon At the Secrets Akumal Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico! We are so excited to spend some quality time together there and know it will be the first of many wonderful vacations together. We love you all so much and are so grateful that you have decided to be a part of our first vacation as Mr. and Mrs. Wevers!

Riviera Maya Snorkeling Adventure Tour

On our honeymoon, we will take the Riviera Maya Snorkeling Adventure Tour and enjoy a “Robinson Crusoe” type day away from the busy beaches and pools of our hotel! We’ll jump into the warm Caribbean waters and swim with colorful tropical fish and the amazing diversity of marine life as we marvel at the coral formations on the Great Mayan Reef, the second largest reef system in the world. Small launches will take us just a short distance from the beach out to the reefs and return back from our snorkeling session so we are not on the water the entire day. Once we are back on shore, we will relax on a private, powder-soft beach as we indulge in a delicious Caribbean barbecue lunch of grilled chicken, local fish and tasty meat tacos served right there on the beach. Later in the afternoon, we will head out for another snorkeling session on the reef. There is also beach volleyball, hammocks, cervezas and tequila to complete a terrific, laid-back day in paradise!

After that, we will visit the quaint village to pick up a souvenir or simply soak up the tropical sunshine at the reef-side pool!
